Dr. Kenneth W Donaldson, DMD, MAGD

Treating your sleep apnea is vitally important to your health and your general sense of wellbeing. Choosing who treats your disease is equally as important. Is this doctor qualified? What is his training? What experience does he have with this disease and its treatment?

Dr. Donaldson was diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea over 15 years ago (after years of denying to his family that HIS SNORING was a problem). He began his journey with CPAP and BiPAP at that time. Five years ago Dr. Donaldson began using a Mandibular Advancement Device for his obstructive sleep apnea and is able to bring that direct experience of both therapies to your treatment. He has extensive experience with dental appliances for bruxism and TMJ issues, as well as Obstructive Sleep Apnea and the management of how these may affect each other.

Regarding training and experience Dr. Donaldson is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM). He has received the designation as Qualified Dentist through the AADSM. In addition he has completed the Mastery Program of the AADSM. This course of study is in preparation for becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. Diplomate status designates advanced training and testing to certify knowledge in a field of study and is equivalent to Board Certification in medical organizations. Dr. Donaldson has demonstrated his commitment to being a continuing student with the awarding of Mastership status in the Academy of General Dentistry and has been in practice for over 30 years.
